REAL TIME PAYMENT PROCESSING AND SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
- Effective January 27, 2026, the City of Salisbury will be processing utility payments only in real time.
- All utility accounts require customer # – account # combination.
- Utility balances reflect the balance due in real time including late fees, admin fees, and such.
- All other bills other than utility will not show a real time balance and a balance due is needed to pay the bill.
- Payments portal will not be available for payment processing during the following times:
- 3 hours before late fees are assessed on the utility bills – generally 45 days from the bill date, and
- 3 hours before utility cutoff tags are processed – generally two weeks after late fees are assessed.
SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS
- Do not pay online if your service has been disconnected or it is in jeopardy to be disconnected.
- Our office is not notified of online payments until the next business day.
- Call utility billing office to speak with a representative at 410-548-3115.
